Account Deletion | Friendly Robots

Two Friendly Robots apps let you create an account: Cribbage 15-2 (for online multiplayer) and recipe.sync. Pick the one you need below. You can delete your account from inside either app, or by emailing us if you no longer have it installed.

Cribbage 15-2

Cribbage 15-2 only creates an account if you use online multiplayer. If you have only ever played solo, you do not have an account with us and there is nothing to delete — solo play keeps everything on your device.

Deleting from inside the app

Open Cribbage 15-2
Tap Play Online (sign in if prompted)
Tap the gear icon at the top right to open Account
Tap Delete account, then Delete to confirm

Deletion takes effect immediately.

If you no longer have the app

The quickest route is to reinstall Cribbage 15-2 and sign in — signing in confirms the account is yours, and you can then delete it using the steps above.

If that is not possible, email support@friendly-robots.com with the subject “Cribbage account deletion” and tell us your username. Cribbage accounts hold no email address, so we cannot match a request to an account from your email address alone — we will reply with a single question only the account holder could answer, and delete the account once you have answered it. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and username
Your sign-in identifier
Your push notification tokens
Your game invitations
Your win/loss record

What is kept, and why

Games you have already finished are kept with your side of them blanked out — your name is removed and the game shows “Deleted player”. We keep the game itself because it is also your opponent’s record of a match they played, and erasing it would delete their history too.

Games still in progress are ended, and your opponent is recorded as the winner, so they are not left waiting on a player who is gone.

What we do not store

We do not store your email address, real name, phone number, postal address or location. Signing in with Apple or Google tells us only that you are the same person as last time — the identifier we keep cannot be turned back into your email address.

Cribbage 15-2 does show advertisements, and our advertising partners can infer an approximate location from your IP address. See Advertisements in our Privacy Policy.

recipe.sync

Deleting from inside the app

Open recipe.sync
Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
Confirm by tapping Delete

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@friendly-robots.com from the email address on your recipe.sync account, with the subject “recipe.sync account deletion”. recipe.sync accounts do store your email address, so we can confirm the request from the address you send it from. We complete requests within 30 days.

If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, the address on your account is your private relay address rather than your everyday one. Send the request from the relay address, or simply tell us your recipe.sync username so we can find the account.

What gets deleted

Your account, including your email address, username and profile picture
Every recipe in your collection
Your cook profiles
Cooking sessions you created, and your participation in sessions other people created
Your feature usage history

Before you delete

Your recipes are permanently deleted, not archived, and we cannot restore them afterwards. If you want to keep them, export them first — open each recipe and choose Export as File. There is no bulk export yet, so allow time if your collection is large.

Two things worth knowing

If you have ever used the forgot password flow, our password reset records keep a row holding your email address and a one-way hash of the code you were sent. It cannot be used to sign in to anything or to recover your data once your account is gone, and we will remove it on request.
Recipes and settings the app has cached on your phone or tablet stay on the device until you uninstall the app.
